Speakers

Paul Zimmerman


Paul is a public speaker and guest lecturer on diverse subjects ranging from AI to entrepreneurship to the future of communications in the workplace. 

Paul has been an accomplished executive in the technology sector for 25 years, when he initially joined Amazon’s early retail management team in the UK in 1999. Today, Paul is the co-founder and Chief Communications Officer with the INV Group, having previously served for 10 years as Group Chief Operating Officer.

Professor Alan Brown


Alan has been delivering impact as an entrepreneur and in business for over 30 years, working predominantly in software delivery to power business transformation. He is also a university professor, researcher, coach and trusted adviser to start-ups and established organisations across the public and private sectors. He has written several books on enterprise software delivery and digital transformation, and holds a Professorship in Digital Economy at the University of Exeter, UK and from March 2019 to September 2023 held a Fellowship at the Alan Turing Institute, the UK National Institute for Data Science and AI.

Professor Chris Watkins

Keynote 2: Chris Watkins "What We Can Expect from AI in the Next Few Years" 

Chris Watkins has been a Professor of AI at Royal Holloway, University of London, for over 25 years. His research interests include reinforcement learning, evolution and evolutionary algorithms, immunology, kernel methods in machine learning, LLMs and reading, and visualisation of high dimensional data. Chris also worked for Bell Labs in America.
